My Story
At 19, I was unsure of what to do with my life. I was attending the University of South Carolina, but when I received my first tuition bill, I realized I needed to find a way to pay for college. That's when I decided to enlist in the South Carolina National Guard as an infantryman. After completing basic training, I returned to USC and joined the ROTC program. I was given a 3-year non-scholarship contract during my junior year. Upon graduation, I commissioned as a second lieutenant transportation officer. I served as a maintenance platoon leader and then as a maintenance control officer, where I worked closely with government contractors. Unfortunately, most of them were terrible - lazy, rude, and unprofessional. This experience made me realize what I wanted to do when I got out: create a company that provided quality government contracting services. That's why I founded Wollman Contracting. Government contractors who don't suck!
